We’ve been to Bánkitó – games and conversations

After 2024, with our member organizations we went to the Bánkitó Festival in 2025, where freedom, and community thinking have always been natural parts of the festival’s atmosphere.

You could meet, chat and play games with us in the Civil Kult living room for two days. In recent years, we have been intensively developing a toolkit and methodology for reaching out to young people: we had two board games (SZÁRNY and VoxPop) which we developed in collaboration with the Foundation for Democratic Youth, quizzes ("Civil organization or band?") and tests (civil personality test), memory games with the logos of our member organizations, and essential festival accessories such as washable civilian tattoos and stickers. Inquirers could learn more about the the organisational structure of CSO’s and their rights in a playful way, ask questions about specific social issues, and learn about opportunities for involvement, support, and volunteering.
