EGALIPE - Network for Roma Equality

Over the past decades, dozens of civil society initiatives have been launched with a common goal: to fight for a more inclusive country and to create opportunities for Roma communities.

Egalipe is a network supporting know-how sharing, collecting best practices and providing assistance in areas relevant to Roma emancipation. The network also develops policy proposals based on the experience and achievements of its members.

Egalipe members work together to make Hungary a more accepting country, where Roma people can feel Hungarian. Where they have the same rights and opportunities as non-Roma and do not have to overcome huge disadvantages from the start.

Egalipe is an open network which came to life to create, nurture and strengthen links between organisations.

Their aim is to bring together professionals from all over the country who are working towards the same goal and can achieve more together.

The network was launched with the support of the Civilisation Coalition and in collaboration with its members.
